The Sustainable City Yas Island (TSCYI) is a unique development that aims to demonstrate how the three elements of sustainability—social, environmental, and economic—can come together harmoniously to create a beautiful and thriving community for its 3,600 residents. The development has been designed to showcase a high-quality design approach incorporating energy production and efficiency, resource efficiency, low environmental impact, and a strong connection to nature.
The project is located on a 39.6-hectare site and is divided into the following land uses:
10 Residential Clusters comprising approximately 900 units, including 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom condominiums, as well as 3- and 4-bedroom townhouses.
Commercial Plot providing the community with basic amenities such as a supermarket, pharmacy, beauty salon, and other facilities, as well as a number of F&B outlets, a gym, community center, nursery, and a nearby mosque.
Equestrian Center comprising 30 stables, an arena, and a small animal sanctuary.
Green Spine, considered the heart and lungs of the development, comprising quiet and active open areas, various landscape features, playgrounds, and community facilities such as a swimming pool and outdoor gym stations, as well as bio-domes for food production and other facilities.
