Walkway in Al-Mirfa

The project scope is related to identifying the community’s emerging recreational needs and interests and in developing walkways and associated utilities to create a desirable quality of life for residents. The design of the walkway and associated utilities shall allow for security and surveillance while providing open spaces, or “urban lungs,” within each location that are easily accessible to pedestrians. The development shall be family-oriented and located within residential areas to provide suitable spaces for picnics, games, sports, and other recreational activities.

The scope of work covers the following:

Landscape design, including softscape, hardscape, water features, and lighting.

Playgrounds.

Amenities, cafeteria, and bathrooms.

Fountains.

Barbecue spots.

Irrigation network.

Drainage, including surface and/or subsurface drainage.

Walkways.

Cycle tracks.

Shaded structures.

Protection of existing utilities.

All related permits and NOCs.

Preparation of tender documents.
